North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist (Independent Contractor 1099) to work at Southern California Hospital Culver City. All MD/DO model only with immediate position available.

  • Brief description: Full time position in Los Angeles in beautiful SoCal location
  • Full description: Immediate full-time position in Culver City. OR call is 4-6 calls a month and is not in house. Looking for team player who is able to do a variety of cases and able to do regional blocks.

How often anesthesiologist be on first call : every sixth night first call

No chronic pain management, no cardiac, rarely thoracic anesthesia, no major vascular anesthesia, no obstetric anesthesia, no pediatric anesthesia, occasional neuroanesthesia, no trauma anesthesia, no critical care medicine, usually anesthesia for outpatient surgery, no office base anesthesia, rarely administrative / leadership duties, usually regional anesthesia, no preop screening clinic, usually orthopedic anesthesia, no acute pain service

100% doing own cases

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

  • D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • ECFMG and FLEX
  • Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia
  • Currently licensed as a Physician
  • Must carry their own Medical Malpractice
  • Own C or S Corp LLC Entity
