Holy Cross Hospital, a community hospital based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, has one of South Florida’s largest concentrations of medical talent. The facility attracts patients not only from the area, but also from around the United States and the world because of its highly skilled medical team representing virtually every specialty. Founded in 1955, this private, nonprofit Catholic hospital has grown dramatically over the decades, keeping pace with advancements in healthcare and meeting the evolving needs of the community. Beginning with a 100-bed capacity, Holy Cross is now licensed to serve 557 inpatients and its medical staff includes over 600 physicians.
Based in Petersburg, VA, Bon Secours – Southside Medical Center is a community healthcare provider with a 300-bed facility on a 50-acre campus. The team comprises over 1,400 healthcare professionals, including 400 physicians who cover more than 40 specialties. Southside Medical Center has the only Trauma Center in the Tri-Cities and southern Virginia.

Dana Traylor, CRNA, MSN – Regional Director, Advanced Practice Anesthesia for NAPA’s Southeast Region
Dana Traylor, CRNA, MSN, earned her BSN in Nursing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her MSN in Nursing Anesthesiology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis. She joined the NAPA team after 15 years with American Anesthesiology, where she served as Chief CRNA in the Knoxville practice. While there, she promoted CRNA recruiting and clinical practice, and also served as a liaison with anesthesiologists and hospital partners.
Advanced Practice Anesthesia (APA) leaders are unique to NAPA. As an integral part of our regional infrastructure, APA leaders are Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who foster stability and collaboration among local facilities and teams throughout our organization. As an APA leader, Traylor supports the Southeast Region. Like other APA leader colleagues, she is a voice for local clinicians and a leader who hears, understands, and values those on our clinical team.
